What is Ekselio, and what is GPTBeyond?+
GPTBeyond is the company — we're building the AI-native Office of the CFO. Ekselio is our first product: AI-built, deterministically-executed finance workflows for QuickBooks Online. As we add ledgers (Xero next), each lives on the same engine: AI designs the workflow, a real query engine executes it, and Excel can verify it.
How is this different from ChatGPT or an "AI coworker"?+
Those are horizontal generalists — and you can't paste a client's books into a public chatbot anyway. Ekselio splits the job: the AI only designs the workflow from your column names and your question; a deterministic query engine in your browser executes it on your actual data. The AI never touches your figures, and the same workflow produces the same answer every time.
Can the AI hallucinate my numbers?+
No — architecturally. The AI never generates figures; it only writes the analysis steps, as plain SQL you can open and read on the canvas. A query engine in your browser then executes those steps against your actual rows, so every number is a computation you can trace back to your data — not a prediction. Re-run it next month and the same logic produces the same answer.
What does "Excel-verifiable" mean?+
Any workflow can be exported as a native Excel model: your input data, the documented logic (SQL and Power Query M), the outputs, and a tie-out sheet. Hit Refresh and Excel independently recomputes every output with Power Query, then checks it against the workflow's results. Anyone — a partner, a client, a diligence team — can inspect, validate, and reproduce the numbers without ever touching Ekselio.
What exactly is sent to the AI?+
Three things: your column names (the header row), their data types, and your question. The AI writes SQL against those names; your browser runs it locally on the full data with a real query engine. No row data, no cell values, no totals are ever transmitted. Verify it yourself in DevTools → Network tab.
Does it only work with QuickBooks Online?+
The live connection is QuickBooks Online today. But you can drop an export from anything — Xero, NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics, Shopify, or any CSV/Excel file — and build the same deterministic workflows on it. Live connections to more ledgers are on the roadmap, starting with Xero.
What file types and sizes does it handle?+
CSV, multi-sheet Excel (.xlsx), JSON, Parquet — up to ~50–100MB comfortably in the browser, far more than a chatbot will take. Messy ERP exports, multi-tab workbooks, weird headers: the AI figures out the schema.
